Book Your Driving Lessons

Booking a lesson with SafeStart Driving Academy is simple and straightforward:

1. Select your preferred lesson package from our offerings
2. Fill out the booking form with your personal details
3. Choose a convenient date and time from our online calendar
4. Complete the secure online payment

You'll receive an immediate email confirmation with all the details of your booking. Our team will also send you a reminder 24 hours before your scheduled lesson.

For your first driving lesson, please bring the following items:

• Valid learner's permit or driver's license
• Prescription glasses or contacts (if required for driving)
• Comfortable, closed-toe shoes with good grip
• Any completed paperwork we've sent you
• Water bottle (especially in warmer months)

Note: Please wear comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement. Avoid flip-flops, high heels, or any footwear that might restrict your ability to operate the pedals effectively.

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our students and instructors:

• More than 24 hours notice: Full refund or reschedule at no charge
• 12-24 hours notice: 50% of lesson fee may be charged
• Less than 12 hours notice: Full lesson fee may be charged
• No-show: Full lesson fee will be charged

We do make exceptions for emergencies and extenuating circumstances. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to reschedule due to an emergency.

Yes, we're happy to provide pick-up and drop-off services for our students:

• Free Service Area: Within 10 miles of our main location
• Extended Area: Available for an additional fee (pricing varies by distance)
• School/Work Pickup: We can arrange to pick you up from school or work with prior notice

Please provide your complete address when booking so we can confirm if you're within our service area or calculate any additional fees.

The number of lessons needed varies based on several factors:

• Complete Beginners: Typically 20-30 hours of professional instruction
• Some Experience: Usually 10-20 hours of lessons
• Refresher Courses: 5-10 hours typically sufficient
• Test Preparation: 5-10 hours recommended

After your first lesson, your instructor will provide a personalized learning plan based on your skills, learning pace, and goals. Remember that practice outside of lessons (with a licensed adult) can significantly reduce the number of professional lessons needed.
